utopien.intersektional.erkämpfen

This year's motto is "utopien.intersektional.erkämpfen" (fight for utopias intersectionally) and as always our concern is to think anti-racist, decolonial and queer-feminist struggles together. This time we want to dedicate ourselves especially to our utopian ideas of a better world and consider how we can organize our fights intersectionally.

We will spend four days together, full of interesting workshops, talks and discussions, as well as concerts, spoken word, dance and time to connect. The IN*VISION offers a platform to reflect on topics around intersectional power structures and discrimination. Over the course of the months, you will be able to discover on our homepage who will be giving workshops on which topics.

You can be assured, that there will be Black/Indigenous/of Color-WomenLesbianTrans*Inter*-only offers, in the form of workshops and spaces for empowerment, which will allow you to enter into more protected spaces and thus find places for self-reflection and networking.

The focus is on queer-feminist perspectives of color, which is why we make sure that we give priority to BIPoC- WLT*I*. It is important to us that trans* and non-binary people of color are considered by everyone.

Basically, our festival is open to all people who want to deal with our concerns politically. Furthermore, we have agreed on a quota, ensuring that at least 75% of the participants must see themselves as BIPoC, i.e. People of Color, (post-)migrant, Black, Indigenous, Rom*nja, Sint*ezza and many more. Thereby we want to make sure that the voices of BIPoC form the majority at IN*VISION. We also make sure that a majority of FLT*I* will have the opportunity to participate.

We are aware that we cannot create a space that is free of racism, sexism and other forms of discrimination - because unfortunately there is no such thing as a counter-world experience within the existing realities. However, since we want to improve existing situations, there will be an awareness team at IN*VISION that is accessible to all participants.
