Prof. Dr. Nivedita Prasad; Professor at the Alice Salomon University Berlin, where, among other things, she heads the course of studies "Social Work as a Human Rights Profession". Before that, she worked for 15 years in an NGO on the subject of "Violence against Migrant Women". Since the beginning of the 1990s, she has also been significantly involved in designing spaces for Black and Women of Color in Germany; she co-organized and documented the first and second nationwide congress for Black Women, Migrant Women, Women living in exile and Jewish Women with May Ayim. The initiative for FEMOCO 2013 also traces back to her.
