I am the physical manifestation of my Trancestors' wildest dreams. I carry on the legacy of the
enslaved who rose up and who fought for their freedom. I've been sent here by the Spirit to help
liberate myself and others from the invisible yet very real shackles of white supremacy and
anti-Blackness.

Daddypuss Rex' experiences and expertise:

My lineage of care, community and survival come from all Black African grandmothers, mothers, aunties, sisters, cousins who were the first to show me Black love, who raised me, who nurtured me, imparting all the wisdoms their foremothers taught them. It is this lineage and legacy that inform how I use my ancestral gifts and the material resources that are currently at my disposal. The sum of my lived experience up until now intersects across the myriad forms of violence and oppression that Black people face - migration, domestic violence, survival sex work, houselessness, gender-based violence, homophobia, disabilty, mental illness, and plenty more, whilst of course trying to navigate through life with the knee of white
supremacy firmly placed upon my neck and maintain some semblance of joy, peace and serenity for
myself and for those with whom I share my Black love.

Daddypuss Rex is particularly concerned with these topics:

The political, financial, sexual, emotional, spiritual liberation of Black Trans people is at the centre of all my undertakings.

As a referent*in to Daddypuss Rex it is important:

What is important to me in my role as an educator is to help people find ways to learn and
understand themselves at a deeper, more critical and at a more radical level and to explore the ways
in which they (their identities, their roles) fit into the bigger picture of Black liberation and the
dismantling of the melanin deficiency inferiority complex (aka white supremacy).
