This is what Diane says about herself:

My name is Diane Izabiliza, I work at the intersection of art, science and education. I am particularly interested in (anti)racism, gender, critical migration studies, radical self-care, and cultures of memory of racialized and marginalized people. If I don't describe myself by my working titles, or degrees, I like to say that I am a radical dreamer. One who has her head in the clouds, but her feet on the ground.

This is especially important to Diane as a speaker:

Seeing the work process as part of the work and therefore making it as beautiful, transparent as possible. It is also very important to me that she makes the participants of my workshop and panel feel comfortable.
