Asal Kosari is a social worker from NRW and co-founder of kohl eG, a non-profit youth welfare cooperative. She works as a counselor for victims of right-wing, racist, anti-Semitic violence and as a speaker on the topics of racism criticism, empowerment and language sensitivity.

She brings this expertise with her:

Asal studied Social Work B.A. and Empowerment Studies M.A.. Accordingly, she combines her social work practice with sociopolitical concerns. So far, she has been able to gain professional experience mainly in child and youth work, political education and affected person counseling. In 2019, she also completed further training as a de-escalation trainer in violence and racism.
