This is what Promona says about Promona:

I am Promona. I am an artist and an activist. I am also an academic, a theater historian to be exact. I was born and raised in Kolkata, India, and have been living in Berlin for 5 years.

Promona is particularly concerned with these issues:

I bring both an experiential and an academically trained understanding of history, historical thinking and memory, alongside an academically trained ability to read visual images. More than 20 years of theater practice have also given me a very diverse set of somatic and bodily practices aimed at strengthening the self through movement and joy.

I am all about creating a restful space where participants can deal with pain and joy in a sheltered, creative and encouraging way.
