is originally from San Diego, California and has been living in Berlin for three years. She holds a bachelor's degree in Ethnic Studies & Communications from the University of California San Diego and is currently completing her master's degree in North American Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin with an emphasis on cultural studies and literature. Cienna is also co-founder of Soul Sisters Berlin where she organizes events and activities to connect and empower women of the African diaspora living in Berlin
